Job Duties:
- Performs all maintenance in accordance with applicable regulatory, manufacturer‘s and company regulations, policies and procedures.
- Maintain aircraft to the highest standards possible and in excellent aesthetic condition.
- Maintain ground support equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Maintain ground based aircraft fueling systems (if applicable).
- Maintain aircraft publications and documents in a current revision status.
- Coordinates with Field Maintenance Supervisors and Logistics to ensure timely acquisition of parts, tooling and equipment.
- Schedule maintenance in an efficient and organized manner which maximizes aircraft availability.
- Perform maintenance record entries in accordance with applicable FARs, manufacturer‘s and Omniflight policies and procedures.
- Submit maintenance records to the principal business office in a timely manner.
- Monitor and account for parts and supplies inventory.
THIS IS MY JOB DESCRIPTION:
Required Qualifications:
- FAA Aarframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) as prescribed by FAR 65.
- MUST have previous BK-117, EC-135, EC-145 or AS-350 maintenance experience.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 2 years Commercial rotorcraft maintenance experience.
- Must have tools appropriate for the mission.
- Knowledgeable of the Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire and ability to work as a team with Flight and Medical crews.
- And blah, blah.
- Possesses sound judgment and objectivity in decision-making.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA Inspection Authorization.
- Associates Degree.
- 5 years experience with turbine powered aircraft.
- Manufacturer‘s approved or equivalent training applicable to the assigned aircraft make and model.
- Previous EMS experience
