Supply Chain Manager (Lean)

Supply Chain: Focus on cost saving opportunities throughout the entire supply chain of the company. Work with each company to improve execution of sales and operations planning. Supply chain will support multiple products and technologies

Must have prior experience in implementing and using MRP and Business Systems.

Strong understanding of supply chain management processes and techniques, including Lean principles, to support planning, engineering, sourcing/purchasing, subcontracting, logistics, material management, manufacturing and customer support.

Must be aggressive, action-oriented, who values being a collaborative team player, and have the ability to be a change agent.

Partner with Integrated Product Development Teams to influence products & processes of the various commodities based on the impact of material pricing & supplier capabilities, while ensuring the execution and flow down of program contractual requirements.

Responsible for scheduling, reporting and facilitating monthly status review meetings. Work within Quality guidelines in performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.

Lean: Monitor and drive continuous improvement projects throughout all businesses within the company.

Coordinates and helps schedule all Lean events, including full Kaizen and mini Kaizen events.

Follow-up/audit all cost improvement and Lean activities to ensure timely closure of open actions.

This project has a workload of 2-3 days per week on a long-term contract basis in Little Rock, AR. The candidate should have at least 5 years of precision mechanical inspection experience in the aerospace industry.

Duration: Approximately 12 months

Duties/Tasking:
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) to AS9102 standards at various supplier facilities in the surrounding Little Rock, AR area.
• Confirm First Article Inspection Records (FAIR) is accurate and complete for inspected parts and assemblies.

Restrictions:

§ Verify conformance of manufactured and purchased products and services to established requirements. This can be in-process, receiving, shipping and final inspection.

§ Verify progressive conformance of all Quality Records associated with the Inspection Process.

QA Inspector

Select and use the appropriate (capable of providing an accurate measurement to the tolerance required) inspection and measuring devices to ensure that required tolerances on manufactured parts are being maintained per customer requirements.
Collect and report to management, any data that promotes an understanding of the status of quality at EPC.
Stop production and notify management of any issues affecting quality.

Authority:
Pass or fail product based upon the requirements outlined by the customer and the inspections and/or tests described in the QMS for the EPC.
Disposition nonconforming product.
